What Click Steam Engine is

Click Steam Engine is a paid membership for people growing a business online. Membership includes a listing for your business in the members Daily Showcase, the daily members email that opens it, your member dashboard and our affiliate program. The showcase is only sent to paying members and shows their businesses one after another.

Membership and payment

• Membership costs $60 a year, paid by card through Stripe, and renews automatically each year until you cancel it.
• Each membership includes one showcase listing. You can hold more than one membership if you want to feature more than one business.
• You can change your listing whenever you like. We check every listing by hand and update the showcase, normally within one working day.
• If you cancel, your membership runs to the end of the year you paid for. If a renewal payment fails and is not fixed, the membership ends and its listing is removed.

What we do not promise

Your listing is shown to members who open the Daily Showcase. We do not sell visits or clicks, and we can not promise how many members will look at your listing, sign up or buy anything.

Listings we do not allow

• Anything illegal, adult, hateful, or that deceives or harms visitors (malware, phishing, fake login pages, pop up traps).
• Pages that break out of frames, play sound automatically, or stop people moving on.
• Link shorteners and redirect services. Use the real address of your page.

We can remove any listing that breaks these rules. Repeated or serious breaches can lead to the account being closed without a refund.

Member rewards

We plan to offer rewards such as cash prizes, Amazon vouchers and Udimi campaigns to members who take part in the Daily Showcase. Rewards are not available yet. Before any reward starts we will publish its own rules, including how winners are chosen and a free way to enter, so nobody has to pay to take part. Amazon and Udimi are not sponsors of these rewards.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. One account per person. You must be 18 or over. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service, other members or our affiliate scheme.

Affiliate scheme

Everyone with an account can refer others and earn commission. The details are in our affiliate terms, which form part of these terms.

Liability

We work hard to keep the site, the Daily Showcase and the daily members email running, but we can not promise they will always be available. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email you first.
